So, I fly to Reykjavik tonight. Waiting at the airport for the first flight is one of the best parts of any trip. After you've gone through security; before your flight is delayed because of mysterious safety issues or you discover that your seat is next to a baby wearing a blue ribbon from a county fair that says 'Most Colicky'.
Here's where I'm going, if everything happens as it should: Iceland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Jordan, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Hawaii, Los Angeles. If things don't happen as they should, it's hard to say. Maybe stuck in Iceland shaking my fist at a volcano, or in London shaking my fist at striking airline staff, or in Bangkok shaking my fist involuntarily because of Japanese encephalitis.
I'll be back on December 23rd. If you choose to rob my place while I'm away, please turn out the lights when you go. Also, if it's convenient, please feed my jaguar while you're there.
